Aaron Tan
Founder
A grade 12 student currently attending Westmount Charter Mid-High School, Aaron is very excited to lead the MFC Games again this year. Ever since he and his team won two similar challenges in 2020, Aaron has been interested in this innovative new technology. Through the MFC Games, Aaron has been able to improve his communication skills and network with many prominent figures in the environmental sustainability industry.
“I look forward to having another “electrifying” year with the MFC Games.”
Justin Tan
Founder
Justin is a grade 10 student attending STEM Innovation Academy. In 2020, he assisted a University of Calgary graduate student run a similar competition. With this new knowledge, he participated in the Calgary Youth Science Fair, where he was awarded the Gold Medal and two awards (Jivraj Elementary Biology Award and Solar & Renewable Energy Award). By conducting workshops in the past two years, Justin has become more proficient in presenting and communicating with others. He believes that these skills will help to create a welcoming and conducive environment for the new MFC Facilitators and MFC Coaches.
“This year, I am excited to meet many new faces from schools across the region and cannot wait to connect with all of you as we bring the MFC Games to life!”
